Tropic Thunder Tops Theatres

Tropic Thunder was tops at the box office again

Once again Ben Stiller and Tropic Thunder finished the weekend atop the box office grossing $11.5M in addition to the $72.3M it had heading in.

Joining Stiller in the fake war movie is Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr. and a cleverly disguised Tom Cruise.

Behind Tropic Thunder, in its debut, was Vin Diesel's Babylon A.D. The sci-fi thriller with Diesel at his badass best drew $9.7M.

Rounding out the top three was The Dark Knight as Christian Bale and Maggie Gyllenhaal, just two of a brilliant cast, have helped bring in over $500M in its time in theatre.

The House Bunny and Traitor filled in at the fourth and fifth places respectively.
