The "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" host — yeah, you know the one — the obnoxious carpenter who barks obnoxious orders via megaphone on the hit ABC design show, has officially been charged with two DUI counts stemming from his Saturday arrest. According to TMZ, the quirky carpenter had a .14 blood alcohol level. His court date for the misdemeanor offense is slated for June 4.

After his arrest, 42-year-old TY Pennington released the following statement: "I made an error in judgment. We all make mistakes, however this is about accountability. Under no circumstances should anyone consume alcohol while driving. I could have jeopardized the lives of others and I am grateful there was no accident or harm done to anyone. This was my wake-up call. I also want to apologize to my fans, ABC Television and my design team for my lapse in judgment and the embarrassment I have caused."

Pennington rose to stardom on "Trading Spaces" becoming well-known as the quirky yet lovable carpenter. He then became host to ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition", a show that rebuilds the homes of deserving families within a seven-day time frame. He also serves as a spokesman for Sears. Now like many Hollywood celebs, Ty is adding DUI charges to his resume after being pulled over and arrested at 12:35 a.m. Want to bet on celebrity antics?
