Not a super exciting week in poker news, but some stuff has been going on, so here's a brief recap:

2009 WSOP Main Event champion Joe Cada continued his media blitz that has so far featured him ringside at Madison Square Gardens for WWE Raw, on the Late Show with David Letterman, on SportsCenter on ESPN and now on the American Morning show on CNN. He may not be the most effusive guy on camera, but he definitely seems to be getting more camera time than that guy that won last year, … John? Matthew? Mark? Luke? Wait, we know this… Dennis! That's right, Dennis Phillips. What? He didn't win? Well, then we have no idea.

Joe Cada on CNN American Morning

Tom "durrrr" Dwan has been taking on some of the worlds highest-stakes poker players in the heads-up Durrrr Million Dollar Challenge at the Les Ambassadeurs club in London. Each opponent ponies up $250,000 to tak eon the online prodigy in their choice of No Limit Holdem or Pot Limit Holdem. For the first day of the challenge, Dwan took on Marcello “luckexpress” Marigliano in No Limit Holdem for 11 hours and Pot Limit Holdem for the last hour. At the end, durrrr ended up down $25,500. The next day he took on notorious aggro Swede Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies in a match that saw both of them rebuy for $250,000 and end up so close that Dwan only managed to eek out a $68,000 victory. The challenge concludes when he takes on Sammy “Any Two” George tomorrow/today, or however these timezone things work.

Bluff Europe: Ilari ‘Ziigmund’ Sahamies' Turn in Durrrr Million Dollar Challenge

The LAPT Playa Conchal is already halfway through Day 2 in the beautiful town of Playa Conchal in Costa Rica. Honestly, who cares about poker in a place like this. Instead of reciting boring chip counts, just take a deep breath, look at the pic at the top of this post, close your eyes and just imagine being on that beach. Your welcome. For the rest of you, there are 60 players left out of the original 259. The only person we feel like is worth mentioning that is near the top of the chip counts is Maridu Mayrinck cos she's a super cool Brazilian chick. Further down the chip counts is Bodog online poker regular Bolivar "ramux" Palacios, for whom we are also rooting.

Following two more successful home games, the Denver Nuggets travel to Los Angeles looking to extend a seven-game winning streak against the struggling Clippers tonight.

NBA basketball betting lines have the Nuggets listed as 9-point road favorites.

Denver has lost three of its last four on the road, averaging 95.0 points during that span.

The Nuggets have three road wins over the Clippers during their seven straight victories in the series. Denver has beaten Los Angeles by an average of 11.4 points since a 101-90 road loss in 2007.

Los Angeles may be without second-year guard Eric Gordon, who missed a 106-91 loss to Memphis on Wednesday night due to a strained groin. The Clippers fell to 1-8 when Gordon doesn’t play.

Gordon, averaging 18.9 points and 1.7 steals, is day to day.

Chris Kaman is averaging 21.5 points, 8.6 rebounds and 1.5 blocks so far this season for the Clippers.

Many celebrities think they're untouchable. And sadly, they're right. Chris Brown successfully rearranged Rihanna's face and got off the hook with a little probation. Lindsay Lohan spent minutes in jail for her two DUI convictions, while Amy Winehouse was acquitted for assaulting a fan she punched in the eye at a charity ball after they asked for a photo.

Now, Bodog's oh-so-talented oddsmakers are weighing in, offering some wagers for the betting masses. Will a celebrity finally do some time for driving under the influence? How about beating the crap out someone? And if so, who will be the next celeb to get arrested?

Making Bodog's list is Entourage bad boy Jeremy Piven, who has 13/4 odds of doing something illegal. Then there's Michael Lohan, who is a safe bet at 9/2 after he sold conversations between himself and Dina Lohan during a time when he was barred from having any contact with her. There's also that other Lohan – Lindsay – who is on a downward spiral of self-destruction, helping herself to goods and services with the idea that she doesn't need to pay because she's a celebrity, damnit.

There's also pretty good odds on Jon Gosselin, who has been living on the edge lately. He will most likely suffer a meltdown and be arrested for some sort of atrocity in the process. Then there are some longshots, who include any of the Baldwin brothers and Weird Al Yankovic. Don't forget about Rob Lowe, who could always bust on the scene with some sort of illegal sex scandal – oh, and Spencer Pratt, who is such a jerk, law enforcement will make up any excuse to put his ass away.

So who will you put your money on? Put some cash on the celebrity arrest odds in the Bodog Sportsbook now. If you need an account, join Bodog today.

Kurt Warner and the Arizona Cardinals look to improve to 5-0 on the road for the first time in 61 years Sunday when they try to drop the NFC West rival St. Louis Rams to 0-5 at home.

NFL football betting lines have the Cards favored by 9 points.

Warner is showing that the Cardinals weren’t a fluke in last season’s playoffs. He has 18 touchdown passes to rank fourth in the league and Arizona owns a two-game West lead over San Francisco.

The Cardinals have gotten strong work on the ground from rookie Beanie Wells, who rushed for 75 yards on 10 carries with two touchdowns in the second half last week.

St. Louis features the fifth-worst defense in the league, and the Rams are facing a high-powered offense for the second straight week. They fell 28-23 to unbeaten New Orleans last Sunday.

The Rams are trying to end a 10-game division losing streak.

Hollywood is full of addicts, narcissists and d-bags so it's refreshing when a woman like Heidi Klum comes along. She doesn't seem to care what people think about her. She wears awesome Halloween costumes. And, she's not a phony baloney self-promoter. When she went on the Ellen show to promote Project Runway and when Ellen asked her what fans can expect this season, Heidi replied, "the same shit."

Klum has four children with her husband Seal and from the looks of things, they have a happy, thriving relationship. They are a drama-free couple, which is hard to find in Hollywood these days.

At Thursday night’s Victoria’s Secret fashion show, everyone was talking about Heidi Klum's post-baby body. She just had a baby five weeks ago and she walked the runway at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show looking incredible.

Klum got a loud cheer when she came out. She has apparently lost 20 pounds since having the baby. Who will be the next celebrity to give birth?
Both the San Francisco 49ers and Green Bay Packers look to build on big wins, while the Packers try for an eighth consecutive victory over the 49ers on Sunday at Lambeau Field.

Currently NFL football Week 11 odds have the Packers listed as 7-point favorites.

While Green Bay avoided a third straight loss with an aggressive defensive effort in a 17-7 win over Dallas last Sunday, San Francisco benefited from five Jay Cutler interceptions and snapped a four-game losing streak with a 10-6 win over Chicago on Nov. 12.

Now Green Bay will try to continue its success over San Francisco, which hasn’t beaten the Packers since a 24-20 win at Lambeau on Nov. 4, 1990.

The Packers have a chance for another solid defensive effort against the 49ers, who rank 27th in total offense and 21st in scoring.

The Niners are 0-4 ATS in the last four meetings.

It's the final of the 2K Sports Classic on ESPN2 Friday night when the Orange and Tar Heels meet at Madison Square Garden in New York – defending national champion UNC has opened as a solid favorite on Bodog's college basketball odds.

Syracuse (3-0, 3-0 ATS) looked very impressive in beating Pac-10 favorite and No. 12 California, 95-73, on Thursday. The Orange led by double digits at intermission and put the game away with a 15-4 run to start the second half. Sophomore Scoop Jardine, one of the guys trying to replace departed star Jonny Flynn at point guard, scored a career-high 22 points and had six assists, while Wes Johnson had 17 points and 11 rebounds. With its trademark 2-3 zone, Syracuse held the Bears, the nation's top 3-point shooting team last year, to 6-of-20 from long range — this season opponents have hit just 17 of 71 3-point attempts (24 percent) against Syracuse.

Orange senior Andy Rautins, the team's best 3-point shooter, re-injured a sprained ankle in the game but hopes to play tonight – his loss would be huge, so check on that injury before placing those college basketball bets at Bodog. I would also caution about reading too much into SU's win as one of Cal's best players, Theo Robertson, surprisingly didn’t play.

North Carolina (4-0, 2-2 ATS) looked impressive for a while in its 77-73 win over No. 15 Ohio State, leading by as many as 19 points in the second half. However, OSU staged a furious rally to get within two with under 10 seconds left before two Heels free throws sealed it. However, North Carolina had just four fast-break points and turned the ball over 19 times. UNC has won 44 straight regular season games vs. non-conference opponents.

It's the first meeting between the Orange and Heels since 1987.

Miley Cyrus' tour bus was involved in a fatal accident however, the teen pop star was not aboard. Sadly, the driver of the bus was killed.

The crash happened on Interstate 85 in Virginia about 40 miles south of Richmond when the bus veered to the shoulder and traveled for a while before tipping over. There were fifteen passengers on the bus, and nine suffered minor injuries. Those injured were taken to Southside Regional Hospital in Petersburg.

TMZ says that officials are investigating whether the driver died before the crash or after — which could explain why the bus drifted off the road.

Oprah Winfrey informed her staff on Thursday that she is pulling the plug on her television talk show, "The Oprah Winfrey Show," as of September 2011.

The rest of the world will get the bad news on Friday morning when she makes the announcement official on her show, but word has it that Ms. Winfrey is finally getting set to launch her new television network — OWN — the Oprah Winfrey Network. As part of a new partnership with Discovery Communications Inc., the new channel will become a joint venture between Ms. Winfrey and Discovery, and includes Oprah.com.

"We have the greatest respect for Oprah and we wish her nothing but the best in her future endeavors, we do know anything she turns her hand to will be a great success," said a spokesman for the CBS Television Studios.

You have to know that the folks over at CBS are NOT happy with the news. After all, "The Oprah Winfrey Show" is the highest-rated talk show in American television history and is currently the longest-running daytime television talk show in the United States.

Coincidentally, "The Oprah Winfrey Show" turns 25 in September 2011. Leave it to Oprah to go out on a high note.
