Dominguez won 26 of those events, finished second 18 times, and wound up in third place 14 times. Garrett K. Gomez is next with $785,886 in just 79 starts, finishing first 15 times and in the top three in 54% of his outings.
Rounding out the Top 10 earners: Rafael Bejarano, Joel Rosario, Robby Albarado, James Graham, Joseph Talamo, John R. Velazquez, Shaun Bridgmohan, and Russell A. Baze.
If you’re looking for just victories, though, the top jockey is Victor Lebron, who has won 28 races over 126 starts. That has Lebron’s winning percentage at 22%, and he’s finished in the top three in over half of his outings (51%). Still, that level of success hasn’t been as lucrative for him as it’s been for Dominquez and Gomez; he’s won ‘only’ $326,351 in purses.
