This weekend the sprinters get top billing at Arlington Race track for the Arlington Sprint Handicap. The $200,000 5 ½-furlong turf test is a “win and you’re in” Breeders’ Cup Challenge race, with the winner getting a post in the Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint in November. Horses that will get the best odds on Saturday will be Smart Enough, Fort Prado, and Amazing Results.

Canadian horse Smart Enough will be looking for his third straight stakes win and will be coming off an impressive win in the $184,834 (Can-G3) Highlander Stakes at Woodbine Park in Toronto. Fort Prado has placed in the money in his last three stakes races, including a win in the $100,000 Black Tie Affair on June 20. Amazing Results is the reigning Illinois Horse of the Year, but is looking for his first win in 2009. His last two races were fourth and fifth-place finishes.
