Unbeaten filly Zenyatta will break from the far outside against a field of seven others in the $300K Vanity Handicap at Hollywood Park on June 27. Zenyatta will be looking for her 11^th straight victory and will be the heavy favorite on race day. She will carry between 13 and 18 pounds more than her rivals, but should cruise to an easy victory in her return to the track. The nation’s number one Eclipse Award older female will attempt to become the fifth repeat winner of the Vanity.

Dawn After Dawn has six wins and she’s earned over a half million dollars, but she’s already been beaten by Zenyatta by 5 ¼ lengths in the El Encino. Briecat was an upset winner in the Bayakoa Handicap but has no victories so far in four ‘09 starts. Modification has won 3 of her 14 starts, but finished fourth her last time out.
