John C. Mabee Stakes Odds

Sunday’s John C. Mabee Stakes at Del Mar will have 10 entrants into the prestigious race. This race will be part of the challenge to qualify to go offshore.

The winner of the John C. Mabee stakes will get an automatic entry into the Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Turf. The 52nd running of the Grade I, $350,000 John C. Mabee Stakes at 1 1/8 miles will be on the Jimmy Durante Turf Course and is shaping up to be a wide-open affair.

Tuscan Evening will get her stiffest test after going from a maiden to a graded stakes winner this past year. The race will also include Magical Fantasy. She is coming from off the pace to take the Gamely (gr. IT) by a neck at Hollywood.
