Since then he’s beaten all comers, winning four in a row including the Robert B. Lewis Stakes, San Felipe Stakes, and the Santa Anita Derby. His overall record is 5-0-1 and he’s earned over $1.2 million already.

He has one of the best jockeys aboard in Garret Gomez, and has had blistering workouts at Churchill Downs since arriving. He recently galloped six furlongs in 1:13.40. In his last race, the Santa Anita Derby, he ran fractional times of :12.20, :24.20, and :36.40.

With runner-up in the 2003 Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner Empire Maker as his sire his pedigree is strong. Empire Maker went 4-3-1 in 8 starts over his racing career. He is out of Star of Goshen, who won three of her five starts.
