With two big stakes races and an exciting line up of horses things are guaranteed to get interesting.

Starting things of will be the Silverbulletday (Race 8 at Fair Grounds). With recent 2007 Champion 2-year-old filly Indian Blessing up against Proud Spell. Proud Spell came second to Indian Blessing in last years Breeder’s Cup Juvenile Fillies and Saturday will be her first race of the season.

The race following the Silverbulletday will definitely be the talk of the weekend however. The Risen Star has a great line up of horses this Saturday, including Eclipse Award Finalist Pyro, a definite contender after last years performance in the Champagne Stakes and Breeder’s Cup Juvenile.

Alongside Pyro will be a number of other horses to keep an eye on, such as Check It Twice, Blackberry Road, Visionaire and Signature Move. The entire line up of horses are definite contenders for the Derby Trail and worth taking into consideration.
