Opening day at Saratoga Racetrack gets off this Wednesday with the 91^st running of the $100K Schuylerville Stakes. The race is for two-year-old fillies over six furlongs. This year there has been $100K added to the purse, and a field of 13 horses will be battling for the prize money. The favorite is Hot Dixie Chick who comes in at 4-1. Right behind her is Decelerator at 5-1 and Aegean and Beautician coming in at 6-1.

Also worth a mention is Franny Freud who is getting 8-1 the night before the race. The long shots that could be a factor in the race include three horses at 15-1 by the names of Kinsolving, Sassy Image and That’s How I Roll. Cowgirl Mally is getting a tempting 10-1 and Vivid Colors is at 12-1. Wide Without Wine at 20-1 and Stormandaprayer at 50-1 have little chance to pay off their odds.
