Race Plans for Curlin Still Under Debate

After winning some huge races such as the 2007 Preakness Stakes (gr. I) and Jockey Club Gold Cup (gr. I) and the 2008 Dubai World Cup (UAE-I), plans for Horse of the Year Curlin are still up in the air.

Curlin was bred in Kentucky by Fares Farm out of the Deputy Minister mare Sherriff's Deputy with owner Jess Jackson and trainer Steve Asmussen.

Asmussen commented in regards to Curlin's workout at Saratoga Race Course "We're still considering all our options," Asmussen said following the early morning work, which Curlin completed in 1:03.09 under regular exercise rider Carmen Rosas. "Nothing has been eliminated yet."

    where ever the connections decide to rum curlin next it will be to keep him safe.
    These owners truly have his best interest at heart.
