Seven three-year-olds thoroughbreds have been entered for the $500,000 Jim Dandy Stakes on Saturday at the Saratoga Race Track. 1/8-mile Jim Dandy will have an even field of horses, including the top three finishers from the July 4 Dwyer Stakes at Belmont Park. Dwyer Stakes winner Kensei tops the field, and will have Edgar Prado aboard. He has three wins in six starts.

Convocation made a wide move to get second place in the Dwyer but has only one win in six starts, all this year. Warrior's Reward was the 4-5 favorite in the Dwyer and will again try to beat Kensei in the late stages of a race. The horse will break from the #4 post and will have seasoned jockey Calvin Borel aboard. He has won two of six starts for over $100K in earnings.
