Zenyatta, the unbeaten 4-year-old filly is not going to be among the 14 horses running in the Breeders' Cup Classic – however, the John Shirreffs-trained horse, who has won all of her eight starts, three of which were Grade 1 races, will compete in the $2-million Breeders' Cup Ladies Classic on Friday. Zenyatta will face Ginger Punch, who will be defending her title.

Pre-entries for the $25.5-million Breeders' Cup series were announced on Thursday. The race everyone will be glued to will be the 1 1/4-mile Breeders' Cup Classic, which will see Curlin, Casino Drive, Duke of Marmalade, Henrythenavigator, Go Between, Colonel John, and Raven's Pass run against one another in a bid for the $5 million purse.

The action goes down October 25th. Be sure to bet on the Breeders' Cup in the Bodog Racebook.
