Calvin Ayre welcomes contestants during season one of Calvin Ayre Wild Card Poker.

An online poker player at Bodog.com will be the star of the new season of "Calvin Ayre Wild Card Poker 2," where players will compete on international TV for a $2 Million Grand Prize Package ($1 million in cash plus a one year $1 million Bodog contract).

The coveted spot will be given away to the winner of Bodog.com's "Calvin Ayre Wild Card Poker 2" poker tournament on April 28, 2007, but Qualifying Tournaments for this final event get underway this Saturday, Feb. 17, with a buy-in of $5.00+.50 or 300 Bodog Poker points, and will run every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.

The top five finishers from each qualifier will automatically be registered to play in the final event on April 28, where they will battle it out with competitors from around the world. The winner on April 28 will receive a spot on "Calvin Ayre Wild Card Poker 2" and the opportunity to play on international TV for the $2 million grand prize package. The remaining top five finishers in the tournament will win prizes ranging from a trip for two to Antigua and dinner with the show's host, Calvin Ayre (and maybe some Bodog girls?), to a flat screen TV.
