The 2008 WNYPoker Annual WSOP Satellite tournament went off without a hitch and awarded Justin Grandin a WSOP seat.

March 15th saw 54 poker players compete in the WNYPoker.com World Series of Poker Satellite tournament. The $65 buy-in, held in Spencerport, NY, gave participants a shot at a $1,500 prelim event seat as well as some cash prizes.

Bodog was a proud sponsor of the event and donated plenty of Bodog gear to be raffled off as part of the fundraising.

The big winner of the night was Justin Grandin. Grandin was heads-up for 20 hands against his opponent before he called an all-in after flopping top-pair. His pair held and he won a seat in a $1,500 event in the 2008 World Series of Poker, almost $650 for travel expenses, and a Bodog Poker hat, t-shirt, and hoodie. He will be using this seat for event #2, and hopes to be able to play in several other events as well during the WSOP.

Justin Grandin

Grandin has already had plenty of success in both live and online poker. Online he plays as Justin58 and has had success in multi table tournaments, sit and go tournaments, and cash games on Bodog.

Congratulations Justin. We'll see you in Vegas!
