Online qualifiers for the Main Event of the 2008 World Series of Poker have been running daily in the Bodog Poker room for over a month now and have drawn hundreds of online poker players. Over 20 seats to the 2008 WSOP Main Event have been awarded to the winners of the weekly Main Event Semifinal qualifiers so far and that number will continue to rise in the weeks to come.
Beginning next week, in order to give more online poker players the chance to qualify for the 2008 WSOP, the time for the weekly Main Event Semifinal held on Tuesdays will change to 9:15 p.m. EST while the other two weekly tournaments will remain on Thursdays at 9:15 p.m. EST and Saturdays at 3:15 p.m. EST. Players can buy-in directly to the Main Event Semifinals for $250 + $20 or win their way in through one of the daily qualifiers for as little as $1.
Each Main Event Semifinal will award at least one $12,000 Main Event Prize Package, which includes the $10,000 buy-in to the Main Event, $2,000 for travel expenses, loads of Team Bodog gear and the once-in-a- lifetime opportunity to experience Las Vegas in total Bodog style, including meeting the Bodog Girls and much, much more. For the rest of April there will be four WSOP seats available each week with that number jumping to five per week for May and June.
If you want to experience the WSOP as only Team Bodog does, then head over to the Bodog Poker room for more details on Bodog's online qualifiers for the 2008 WSOP Main Event.
