We've got several Team Bodog poker players out in the Amazon Room late on Day 5 of the 2008 WSOP; two making deep runs in Event No. 5 and the other at the final table of Event No. 2.

At the final table of the $1,500 No Limit Holdem event is the newest Team Bodog member, Grant Hinkle. Right now, there are six players remaining out of the record-setting field of 3,929 and Hinkle is currently sitting in third behind chip leader Mike Ngo and James Akenhead, but ahead of noted pros Chris "Jesus" Ferguson and Theo Tran. At just after midnight, we could be in for a long morning before a victor is decided.

The $5,000 Mixed Holdem event began two days ago with 332 players ponying up their $5,000 buy-in. There are now only 21 players remaining and Bodog pros Justin Bonomo and David Williams are, as we write this, in the top 10.

Bonomo has been hovering just shy of the top spot for the last few hours, dropping as low as fifth and as high as second. He is currently sitting a tough table though with Erik Lindgren, Robert Williamson III, Andy Black and Howard Lederer. The young gun is definitely holding his own and we observed him exchanging table banter with these seasoned vets.

Williams has had a much more rollercoaster day. Just a couple of hours ago, before the dinner break, he was the short stack in the tournament with 23 players remaining. he has now doubled his stack and bigged up several huge pots to work his way up to the tenth spot. His distractions are a little less threatening and involve railers in the form of Nenad Medic and Michael Mizrachi and a very attractive All-In Energy Drink rep. Livin' the Bodog lifestyle, that's what it's all about.

UPDATE: Hinkle is now the chip leader in the $1,500 NLHE event. Daaaaaaaaang.
