In what has quickly become a pro-drenched World Series of Poker, yet another well-known name on the poker world has taken home a WSOP bracelet. After three days of trying to have the worst hand in the odd poker variation that is Razz, Barry Greenstein won his third bracelet and took home the $157,619 first-place prize.
Toughing his way through the 453 player field, Greenstein found himself heads-up against Chris Klodnicki for the title with a monstrous chip lead. Despite a few failed attempts at a comeback by Klodnicki, "The Bear" held onto that lead and rode it to victory after only about two hours of play.
This is Greenstein's third cash at the 2008 WSOP and his second final table, that being when he finished third in the $5,000 No Limit 2-7 Draw with Rebuys for $225,552. He also came in 46th in the $2,000 No Limit Holdem event for $7,583.
Greenstein joins the growing number of poker pros who are holding bracelets from this year's Series that includes Mike Matusow, Erick Lindgren, Daniel Negreanu, Max Pescatori and Kenny Tran.
