The Bodog Poker Open III online poker tournament series continued its successful run yesterday with another set of high, mid and low-stakes events. Once again, almost 500 online poker players came out to try and take home their share of the $55,000 in prize money that was on offer plus the T$50 bounties available in the low-stakes even.

The BPO3 High-Stakes tournament was a $100+$10 buy-in No Limit Holdem event with Rebuys. The 87 players who turned out for the event generated a prizepool of $30,000 with Bodog juicing the pot by $5,000 for a total of $35,000. Walking away with the $10,500 first-place prize was online poker player "FLUSH634."

The BPO3 Mid-Stakes event yesterday featured a was a $55+$5 buy-in 6-Handed event with a $15,000 guaranteed prizepool that Bodog honored by overlaying the $3,120 needed to reach that amount, giving the 216 entrants extra value for their buy-in. Online poker player "gregums1" took home the $4,125 top prize.

The low-stakes BPO3 Bounty tournament featured another type of poker game, this time moving to Limit Turbo with a $15+$1.50 buy-in. Bodog once again added money to the prizepool to bring it up to the posted $5,000 guarantee, giving the 179 players extra value plus a chance to win T$50 bounties for knocking out those designated with that status. "2STICKS" won the $1,375 first-place prize and his own bounty for taking down the event.
