Newly minted Bodog poker pro Jean-Robert Bellande had his first Tournament Leader Board heads-up match in the Bodog Poker room last night against Bodog regular Jose "head2782″ Severino.

Severino went into the match with a chance to win $3,000 after coming out on top of the TLB for the week ending March 16th and he did exactly that. All of the cards fell his way as he gave Bellande a rude welcome to the back and forth grudge matches that are the weekly TLB match-ups between Bodog online poker players and the Bodog pros.

There were a few hands in particular that sealed Bellande's fate. Early on, he had a chance to knock out Severino when they both got all-in preflop with Severino holding Q-Q and Bellande with A-K. Severino won the coin flip with a Q on the flop and no help came for Bellande.

"head2782″ also got lucky when he had 8-7 against the Q-7 of the reality TV star and a board showing 4-6-7. They both got all their chips in the middle and Severino hit one of his seven outs to double up.

On the final hand, Bellande was down to about 300 in chips and pushed in with J-5 but was no match for the K-9 of Severino, ending the match and awarding the $3,000 prize to Severino.

Get in on some online poker tournament action and work your way up the Bodog weekly tournament leader board and get a free crack at one of Bodog's poker pros and some serious dough.
