Finishing sixth place in the World Championship of Online Poker and earning $232,345 is no easy feat, but that is exactly what Bodog poker pro Josh Arieh did (he confirmed that he is the man behind original sixth-place finisher "nitbuster" in an interview with PokerNews). On the other hand, what turned out to be much easier than it sounds was Arieh's promotion from fifth place to sixth place in that same tournament, a move that earned him an extra $75,000. It required no extra time at the table, no hours spent waiting for cards, just a few weeks to wait for an investigation to wrap up.

The investigation in question was being conducted into account irregularities surrounding the event winner "TheVOid," who was awarded $1,228,330.50 in prize money for the first-place finish. Two weeks after the end of the tournement, "The VOid" was stripped of his title and every other finisher was bumped up a spot. Second-place finisher "ka$ino" was then awarded the top spot, an almost $375,000 increase, and so on down the line including Arieh.

This has got to make the "bubble boy" happy, that player just went from $0 to $2,998. Not quite the $75,000 that Arieh added to his winnings, but not bad for a hard day's work good night's sleep.
