The Amazon Room here at the Rio is once again filled with poker players as another $1,500 buy-in event kicks off today at the 2009 WSOP. This one is the Six-Handed No Limit Holdem event and we've already spotted Bodog Poker pros Evelyn Ng and Justin Bonomo out in the field along with a whole host of other notable folks, including the rapper Nelly, Chino Rheem, Mark Seif, Joe Sebok and Hevad Khan.

Hang on…. this just in. Both Evy and Justin are out of the evnt and have moved onto much more important things today, like buying a Vespa for Evy. This is from Evy's twitter (@evybabee) just a few moments ago:

I busted out of the shorthanded on a draw… @JustinBonomo took me over to the Vespa dealer

Followed very shortly by this:

I just bought my Vespa LX50!! :D

We'll try to get some pics up as soon as possible for everyone to see and maybe even a little video. Stay tuned for that.

Also happening right now in the Amazon Room is the stacked final table of the $10,000 Seven Card Stud event. The chip leader right now is Freddie Ellis but he is followed by Hasan Habib, Tim Phan, the Italian pirate Max Pescatori and Greg "FBT" Mueller. At this point the final table could go any way and we'll keep you posted when it does.

Don't forget that there are still plenty of opportunities available to qualify online for the 2009 WSOP through Bodog Poker and win a $12,000 WSOP prize package. Packages include the $10,000 Main Event buy-in, $2,000 for travel/accommodation plus Bodog gear and access to the exclusive Bodog Player's Event.
