While the grind of Day 5 of the 2009 WSOP Main Event is going on in the Amazon Room here at the Rio, down the hall in Brasilia there is a whole different type of atmosphere for the Dream Team Poker event. The three-person team format event kicked off this afternoon and out in the field is a team consisting of Bodog Poker pros (and friends) David Williams, Evelyn Ng and Justin Bonomo.

Three hours into the event and we can tell you that all three are still in and it's looking really good for Team Bodog Pros for the team title. However, there's still a ways to go, so we'll try not to jinx them too much.

As you may, or may not, know, Bonomo was actually a member of the winning team for the very first Dream Team Poker event as part of Team Bluff. So, according to his Twitter update just now, it looks like he is determined to become the first player to win a DTP event on two different teams. Looking at his, DW's and Evy's stacks, that looks like a pretty good possibility.

Also playing in this event are Daniel Negreanu (Team PokerVT), Barry Greenstein (Team PokerRoad.com), Gavin Smith (Team Zurvive), Jamie Gold, David Chicotsky, Lauren Kling (Team TheMaven VT), Bryan Micon, Dustin Woolf (Team Neverwinpoker.com), Captain Tom Franklin, TJ Cloutier (Captain Krunch), and Lacey Jones (Kegslist.info).

We'll keep you updated on this fun event as well as the regular 2009 WSOP Main Event updates, so make sure to keep heading back over here.
