Bodog Poker is getting into the holiday spirit by giving online poker players a chance to get a little something extra in their stockings courtesy of the '12 Days of Poker' promotion. (Bodog Beat Image)

Bodog Poker's 12 Days of Poker promotion gets underway this Sunday, December 21, at 2pm ET with a $100 buy-in No Limit Holdem tournament that will have an extra $3,000 added to the prize pool. The series wraps up 44 events and almost $100,000 in added prize money later with a Grand Finale tournament that will award Bodog Poker Open 3 prize packages valued at over $2,000.

Along the way, the 12 Days of Poker Tournament Leader Board will keep track of each player's finish, and those tournament results will help determine who qualifies for the Grand Finale tournament and the chance to win those Bodog Poker Open 3 packages.

This is how qualifying for the Finale breaks down:

• 1st to 4th on the TLB – Automatic entry to 27 person Final tournament
• 5th to 100th – entry to Semi Final tournament – Top 18 advance
• 5 Wild Cards – random drawing from players who participated in at least five "12 Days of Poker" poker tournaments.

The top three finishers in the Grand Finale will win a BPO3 package while 4th to 10th places will win a seat to a "Bodog Flight Club Semifinal", part of a new program to be launched in early January.
