Bodog Girl Taylor gets ready for her turn to race a Corvette at Bodog's WSOP VIP Day 1. (Bodog Beat Image).

As you may know Bodog prides itself on treating its poker players well. And this year's WSOP qualifiers are getting the full VIP treatment with every player getting to choose from one of three VIP days while they're down here in Vegas.

Today was VIP Day 1: Racing Corvettes and man was it epic. No, we're not just blowing smoke here, it was about as much fun as a human can possibly have without breaking the law. We at the Beat got to tag along with the Bodog WSOP qualifiers and we thank the powers that be for it. We haven't had adrenaline shakes like that since the last time we got into a bar fight.

The day started early this morning with the crew getting on a luxury tour bus and heading out to Spring Mountain Motorsports. From there we were split into three groups which rotated through three different events: Hot Laps, Auto-Cross Racing and Go Karts.

Hot Laps - Riding shotgun with a professional driver who takes you at pant-crapping speed around a course in a high performance Corvette.

Auto-Cross Team Challenge - Everyone got to take their turn racing a Corvette through a course, God this was fun. Left image - We can't remember who was behind the wheel here but they were just coming out of a hairpin turn and nailing the gas as they entered a straight away. Middle image -  Daniel Booth rides shotgun while David Geslak revs the engine at the start line. Right image -Qinghai Pan tears up the track.

Go-Karts - Now when you hear the word Go-Kart you might get the wrong impression. These weren't some piddly, little lawn mower powered karts. These are the fastest Go-Karts in America with peak speeds of 80 mph. Do you know what that feels like when you're ass is only three inches off the ground?

Here we have some of our WSOP qualifiers getting ready to compete against each other in the Auto-Cross Challenge. Yes, there may have been a few wagers placed.

And here we have on the left the full crew of Team Bodog WSOP qualifiers who selected the VIP Day 1. In the middle we have the Team Bodog members with the three fastest times from the Auto-Cross Challenge (Congratulations to 1st place Chris Callaway, 2nd place David Geslak and 3rd place Joshua Goldstein). And on the right, Bodog Girls Val and Taylor who not only made for a more pleasant afternoon but also raced and kicked some ass themselves.

Stay tuned to the Beat for More WSOP news and updates as well as recaps of the other WSOP VIP Days including the Gun Range and Paintball Extravaganze happening tomorrow and the Grand Canyon Heli-Tour the day after.
