The good folks over at CardPlayer.com sat down with Bodog online poker player Johnathan "UFPokerStar" Westra to talk about playing online poker at Bodog, playing in live tournaments for Bodog and everything inbetween.

As the article mentions, Westra has about $430,000 in career live tournament winnings so far and untold amounts from online play and smaller satellites at casinos. During the first half of 2008, he racked up four major poker tournament cashes including two WSOP Circuit preliminary event wins.

Westra has already qualified for the 2008 WSOP Main Event through Bodog Poker and had this to say about his plans for this summer at the WSOP:

JW: I’ll be out in Vegas the entire Series this year. I’m so ready to go; I just got a teaser last year, because summer school cut my time short. I will be playing almost every no-limit hold’em event at the Series, then I will hit the Venetian Deep Stack on the off-days. I will probably drop by Bellagio for a few events, since I seem to run good there.

To say he runs good at the Bellagio might be a little of an understatement. He had his biggest career cash there last summer in the Bellagio Cup III where he won Event #1 - $1,500 No Limit holdem - to take home an impressive $65,275 and then four days later finished second in another $1,500 buy-in event for $55,890.

If you want to join Westra as part of Team Bodog at the 2008 WSOP, then head over to Bodog Poker and get started on your way for as little as $1 in the 2008 WSOP online poker satellites. Winners of a Team Bodog WSOP Prize Package will recieve the $10,000 buy-in to the Main Event, $2,000 for travel expenses, a duffel bag full of Bodog gear, the attention of a personal handler, the chance to party with the Bodog girls and much, much more.
