Daniel Fuhs Better Look Over His Shoulder at WPT LA Poker Classic

Daniel Fuhs may hold an impressive chip lead of about 100k in chips heading into Day 3 of the 2008 WPT LA Poker Classic, but he'd better keep an eye out.
We're not trying to make any kind of statement about his abilities to stay at the top, but we would be scared shitless to know that Phil Ivey was sitting just three spots behind us. Add that to the fact that Antonio Esfandiari, Jennifer Tilly, Dan Harrington, Anna Wroblewski, Kenna James, Phil Hellmuth, Humberto Brenes, Nam Le and former LAPC champion Michael Mizrachi are all also breathing down his neck and we'd be sweating a bit in his position.
Even though there are still a number of pros left in the field, an even larger number hit the rail during the day, including Carlos Mortensen, Johnny Chan, Allen Cunningham, Barry Greenstein, John Juanda, Erick Lindgren and Montel Williams. Yesterday was especially unkind to Team Bodog as Evelyn Ng, David Williams, Justin Bonomo and Jean-Robert Bellande all found themselves out of the tournament.
There are currently 136 remaining and we're probably looking at another five or six blind levels today and most likely the bursting of the money bubble toward the end of the day. That comes when 63 players are left.
Stay tuned to the Beat throughout the day for more live updates from the 2008 WPT LA Poker Classic.
