The action is really starting to pick up here at the 2008 WSOP. We've got the HORSE Championship final table stacked with pros and Day 1 of the Pot-Limit Omaha Championship to boot.

The current chip leader of the 288 players remaining from the original 381 is none other than Bodog poker pro David Williams.

Williams had been short-stacked for a while but coming up to the recent break he doubled up a couple times and then got into a hand with a flop of 2s-Jd-4c. Williams bet out 3,000 and got raised from one player who put it up to 9,000. Raises were traded back and forth until his opponent was all in. Williams flipped his cards to show Ks-Kd-Jc-4d giving him top two pair. His opponent showed Ad-Ac-7d-6h. for the overpair.

The turn gave Williams' opponent the better hand with a 7s but the river, a Js, gave Williams a full house and about 30,000 in chips to make him the new leader with 89,000.

Coming up behind Williams is poker pro Josh Arieh with 84,000.

Not far behind the two leaders is 2006 WSOP Main Event final tablist, Leif Force with 78,000. Trailing him is Ram Vaswani with 68,000, Clonie Gowen with 63,000, Dario Alioto with 59,000 and Johnny Chan with 54,500.
