As we reported yesterday, the final table of Event No. 18 – $5,000 No-Limit 2-7 Draw w/ Rebuys – here at the 2008 WSOP was shaping up to be one to remember and were we ever right on the money. We know we said a week ago that the final table of the $5,000 Mixed Holdem event, which featured Team Bodog poker pros Justin Bonomo and David Williams, was the most stacked final table in recent memory. However, this final table, which also plays host to Erick Lindgren like that other one did, could now be the most star-studded in all of history ever.

Between the seven participants at this final table there are an astounding eight WSOP bracelets and over $25 million in career earnings. Barry Greenstein, 2007 WSOP Player of the Year Tom "DonkeyBomber" Schneider and Mike Matusow all have two bracelets a piece with Jeff Lisandro and Lindgren at one each. With the title of "Best Player to Never Win a WSOP Bracelet" now vacated by Lindgren as of a week ago, David Benyamine and Tony G could arguably fit that description and will both be looking to get that monkey off their backs this afternoon.

Lindgren is making an early run at WSOP Player of the Year with two cashes already this year, including his bracelet and a final table bubble in the $1,500 No Limit Holdem event. Looks like once you break through the bracelet barrier the floodgates really open up.

Here are the full chip counts for the final table:

Erick Lindgren – 1,104,000
Barry Greenstein – 541,000
Mike Matusow – 520,000
Jeffrey Lisandro – 461,000
David Benyamine – 410,000
Tony 'G' Guoga – 394,000
Tom Schneider – 162,000
