Just a quick update here from Day 4 of the 2008 WSOP Main Event. Bodog poker pro Evelyn Ng came back from the last break to find that her table had been broken, for the fourth time today. However, instead of just being moved to some other random table in the Amazon Room, she found herself sitting under the glaring lights of the ESPN featured table.
Evy has made good use of her move so far and has picked up a few pots and is sitting at about 450k in chips. She is also sitting at the table with no limit holdem master and 11-time WSOP bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth and noted online poker pro Adam "Roothlus" Levy. There's good and bad in that. The quality of play is better, less donk moves, but at the same time the quality of play is better and it may be harder to push players around.
We talked to Evy during the break and she wants to to stick to the game plan that has been working so well for her so far and run as deep as she can in this event, obviously. We'll keep you posted on her progress as the 2008 WSOP continues.
