Four days of grinding tournament poker have wrapped up at the WPT Borgata Poker Open and the six players who will make up the televised final table are now set. Among them are a noted online poker pro, an infamous tournament veteran and then a couple of other guys. Such dedicated poker journalism.
Leading the way into the final table is Internet phenom Vivek "psyduck" Rajkumar, who has racked up eight WSOP cashes – including one final table – and two WPT cashes in only two short years of playing tournament poker. He is followed closely by long-time poker pro Mark Seif with his two WSOP bracelets and $2 million in career earnings. Unfortunately for him, Rajkumar has almost two million chips more than him.
Sitting in third is Dan Heimiller who was the chip leader heading into the day and managed to keep himself close to the lead throughout the day and will be making his first WPT final table appearance in his 16-year poker tournament career. Heimiller is followed by those other guys we mentioned before.
Here are the official chip counts going into the final table:
1. Vivek Rajkumar — 6,480,000
2. Mark Seif — 4,665,000
3. Dan Heimiller — 3,360,000
4. Sang Kim — 3,085,000
5. Jason Strochak — 1,650,000
6. Andrew Knee — 1,475,000
Final table play begins in just a little bit and will wrap up when a champion has been crowned and the $1.4 million first-place prize awarded.
