The Bodog Poker Open II kicked off yesterday and drew 427 online poker players into the Bodog Poker room to participate in the first two events of this online poker tournament series and share in the more than $88,000 of prize money that was awarded.
Bodog Poker Open II Event No. 1 was a $50 rebuy No Limit Holdem tournament into which 246 players entered, many of whom re-bought to stay in the game. Bodog then added $10,000 to the prize pool, boosting the purse up to $52,750. The final table of the event featured several Bodog Poker regulars and it was "nutzkrackr" who was able to outlast them all to take down the $14,506 first-place prize. "Nutzkrackr" has been lighting it up in the Bodog Poker room over the past couple of months and this win highlights his recent hot streak.

Bodog Poker Open II Event No. 2 was again a No Limit Holdem tournament, but this time with a freezeout buy-in of $200. Bodog guaranteed a $30,000 prize pool, but as 181 players turned out to participate, they themselves generated a $36,200 prize pool, providing even more value to the online poker players. Once again, the final table was populated by names that have become familiar at the top of the Bodog Tournament Leader Board and at the final tables of Bodog Poker's Sunday $100k Guaranteed. "TheHesse" is one of those names and went home with the $9,955 first-place prize.
