After years of having amateurs and unknown Internet pros dominate the bracelet award ceremonies, it looks like the 2009 WSOP is officially marking the comeback of the well-known poker pros. Well, for now at least. Adding to the list of pros who have taken down bracelets this Summer are JC Tran and Greg Mueller.

The $10,000 World Championship Limit Holdem event fielded an impressive number of recognizable names and the final table was no different. Mueller was able to beat out a final nine that included Chad Brown, Daniel Alaei and one Kenny Hsiung, who held the chip lead for most of the day and at one point looked like he was running away with the whole thing. For the win, Mueller receives $460,836 and his first WSOP bracelet.

Another talented final table assembled for the conclusion of the $2,500 Pot Limit Omaha event, including John Juanda, Jeff Kimber, Theo Jorgensen and Chad Layne. In the end, however, it was poker pro Tran who was able to outlast them all to win his second bracelet and the $235,685 first-place prize.

Stay tuned for more 2009 WSOP updates and don't forget that the Bodog Mini Poker Series begins on July 3 and will award one of the first seats available to the 2010 WSOP Main Event.
