Sweet! Another reason to post a picture of Layla Kayleigh, hostess of Season VI of the World Poker Tour. The Game Show Network (GSN) just announced when we can expect to see her in our living rooms, unfortunately she will only be on our TV screens.

This newest season of the WPT marks the first time that the televised final tables of the tour will appear somewhere other than the Travel Channel, which let the show go last year. The WPT was then immediately snatched up by GSN to join their already successful poker show, High Stakes Poker, on Monday nights for a sort of "Must See Poker TV" night. GSN is paying $300,000 to WPT Enterprises to air the show and has promised a budget of $3 million to market it. The current contract only last a year but GSN has an option to renew at the end if they so desire.

If you have a desire to appear on TV for a WPT final table for this season of the show, you still have some tournaments left on the schedule to make that happen. The LA Poker Classic's WPT championship event kicks off in about 10 days (and the Beat is gonna be there!!!1!!!) and will be immediately followed by the WPT Celebrity Invitational. Then there's the Bay 101 Shooting Star, World Poker Challenge and the Foxwoods Poker Classic. Needless to say, plenty of opportunity. And what better way to experience this than to go as part of Team Bodog. So, head over to the Bodog Poker room and qualify online for a WPT event or even the 2008 WSOP (we just thought we'd throw that in there).
