CardPlayer Magazine just released their much-anticipated year-end Online Player of the Year (OPOY) rankings and to no one's surprise, the top ten features a lot of the usual suspects of the online poker world topped by 2007's OPOY Isaac "wensmenloAA" Baron. Baron just barely beat out second-place Matt "ch0ppy" Kay for the honor in OPOY points, but definitely out-earned the entire field.

According to CardPlayer, Baron earned a total of $1,036,452 in 2007, had 37 top-20 finishes, reached 20 final tables, won seven events and had 18 cashes for at least five figures. Kay earned just over $200k less than that with the rest of the field more than $200k behind him.

Also in the top ten were two Bodog regulars, Scott "SCTrojans" Freeman and Jon "PearlJammer" Turner. Freeman won the Bodog Sunday $100k Guaranteed online poker tourney just a couple of months ago while Turner also won that same event and final tabled it a couple of other times as well. The finishes in those events both helped propel these two players into the top ten.
