Bodog poker pro Jean-Robert Bellande has been on a tear recently, finishing second in the $1,500 Limit Holdem Shootout event and then out-shooting Charles Barkley in an impromptu HORSE game during the Bodog party at the Palms Hardwood Fantasy Suite a few days ago.

Well, it looks like he's still on that streak as we hit the second break of Day 1D of the 2008 WSOP MainĀ  Event as he has more than doubled his stack and is currently sitting at about 43,600. In unfortunate news, Bodog poker pro David Williams ran a set of nines into some donkey's runner-runner straight and is heading home much earlier than was his game plan. Sucks.

Also hitting the rail earlier today were both Chuck Liddell and Forrest Griffin, would seem that they feel like poker tournaments should last as long as UFC bouts.

In other Team Bodog news, our favorite blinged-out poker player, Heather Wells, who you may remember from her WSOP Europe VIP shopping spree, is out in the field today and looking mighty sparkly. She's currently sitting at about 10k and is hoping to outlast her husband, Brian Wells, who is also out in today's field.
