It took eight hours to go from fourth place to third place, but it only took about eight minutes to get to heads-up play. On an ace-high board, Raymond Rahme pushed all-in and after an absurd amount of deliberation was called by the A-5 of Jerry Yang. The turn and river were of no help to Raymond and the 62-year-old South African was eliminated in third place. The first ever player from the continent of Africa to make a WSOP Main Event final table earns $3,048,025 for the finish. Jerry has now eliminated all but one of the final table competitors.

The 2007 WSOP Main Event is now down from the starting 6,358 players to the remaining two. Here are the heads-up chip counts:

Jerry Yang - 104,450,000
Tuan Lam - 23,025,000

Stay tuned as we get closer to a new champion live at the 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event.
