It took eight hours to get from four-handed play to three-handed play, but in the end all the patience in the world couldn't save Alex Kravchenko from an unkind flop. Alex got all of his chips in the middle with A-K and was called by Jerry Yang's pocket eights. The flop came with an eight essentially ending Alex's chances. The turn did not help and Alex was drawing dead to the river.
Alex has become the highest earning Russian in the poker world adding $1,852,721 to his already impressive career earnings for his fourth place finish at the 2007 WSOP Main Event.
Here are the updated chip counts:
Jerry Yang - 67,300,000
Raymond Rahme - 36,100,000
Tuan Lam - 24,075,000
