The WPT LA Poker Classic is getting down to its final days at the Commerce Casino, and with only 20 players remaining, poker pro Chris "Jesus" Ferguson is leading the way.

Ferguson started Day 4 outside of the top ten chip counts, but as he's diplayed many, many times, he's one of the best No Limit Holdem tournament players out there. He finished the day almost 300k in chips clear of second place's Payman Arjang. The man who would be Jesus has cashed in eight different WPT events and has reached one televised final table, which on the World Poker Tour is the last six players.

Unfortunately, we lost some good people during the first few levels of the day. The field got a whole lot less attractive when Maria Ho and Erica Schoenberg busted out in 43rd and 37th, resepctively. Then, it went on to get a whole lot less talented with the loss of David "The Dragon" Pham, Nick Binger, Nenad Medic and Men "The Master" Nguyen.

Surviving the carnage in these late stages to go forward to Day 5 were Teddy "Iceman" Monroe, Blake Cahail, Zach Hyman, Peter Feldman, Mike Sowers and Nick Schulman. The players will get back down to business later on today and will play down to the last six who will make up that televised final table. Up for grabs is the $1,686,760 first-place prize and eternal glory as a WPT champion, or that WPT-Made Millionaire thing that was big last year.
