Bodog online poker player Johnathan "UFPokerStar" Westra dominated yet another WSOP Circuit preliminary event yesterday as part of the Bayou Poker Challenge held at the Harrah's New Orleans Casino and Resort. The $500 buy-in No Limit Holdem event paid out $29,385 to the winner.

This is the second WSOP Circuit preliminary event that Westra has taken down. He also won the Short-Handed No-Limit Hold'em championship held at the Tunica Grand Casino-Resort back in January for $26,742.

Westra has already qualified for a $12,000 prize package through Bodog for the 2008 WSOP Main Event and with this infusion into his poker bankroll we fully expect to see him at a bunch of the WSOP preliminary events as well as some of the other poker tournaments happening in Vegas this summer. Last year, he won a Bellagio Cup bracelet by taking down the $1,500 No Limit Holdem event for $65,275.

If you want to join Westra as part of Team Bodog and experience the 2008 WSOP like no one else, then head over to the Bodog Poker room and check out the 2008 WSOP online poker qualifiers.
