Bodog Poker has announced the official release of the brand new online poker client with several upgrades and requested features. (Bodog Beat Image)

After a couple of months of beta testing that included feedback from across the online poker community, the new Bodog Poker software is now officially available for download. This new release of the client is fully customizable and features resizable tables, a full-screen mode and detachable chat and game details.

The addition of resizable tables is by far one of the biggest changes to the Bodog Poker client and lets you control the size of the game window simply by dragging the lower right corner of the table, giving you the ability to fit several tables onto a monitor of any size. However, if you're at, say, the final table of the Sunday $100k Guaranteed and want to focus in on one table so as to crush your opponents, with the click of a button you can pop the window up to full-screen and march to victory in high-resolution.

Additionally, you will now also have the ability to detach, resize and move the chat, statistics, notes, profiles, tournament info and game details windows, leaving more space for raking pots and less distractions from the parting shots of your victims in the chat window. Over the coming months, Bodog also plans to introduce additional features, including the ability to play on more than three tables at a time. It may be time to buy a bigger monitor.

The perfect place to take the new software out for a spin would be this weekend for Bodog Poker's largest guaranteed prize pool tournament ever, the $250,000 Guaranteed. Online satellites for the tournament are running continuously in the Bodog Poker room between now and the time the tournament starts, which is Sunday, August 10, at 4:00pm ET.
