Right about now, the final table for the $5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha w/ Rebuys at the 2008 WSOP is getting underway (we can hear the player introductions), and though it has already helped Phil Hellmuth set a record, it could bear witness to another record by the time it's through.

When Chris "Jesus" Ferguson was eliminated in 10th place to seal the remaining nine players of this event, Hellmuth became the first poker player in history to reach 40 WSOP final tables. He will now have the opportunity to win his record-setting 12th WSOP bracelet and put himself two bracelets ahead of his closest competition in that arena, Doyle Brunson and Johnny Chan. To spicen things up, Chan joins Hellmuth at this final table and will be looking to even things up rather than fall two behind.

Unfortunately for the "Poker Brat," Hellmuth enters the final table as the short-stack with less than 10% of the stack of current chip leader and high-stakes (actually higher than that, more like "nose bleed stakes") online cash game specialist Phil "OMGClayAiken" Galfond. And with poker pros John Juanda, David Benyamine and Daniel Negreanu thrown in the mix, he will have a tough time chipping up here.

Here are the seat assignments and chip counts for the final table:

Seat 1: John Juanda – 694,000
Seat 2: Phil Hellmuth – 119,000
Seat 3: David Benyamine – 1,041,000
Seat 4: Kirill Gerasimov – 558,000
Seat 5: Phil Galfond – 1,393,000
Seat 6: Daniel Negreanu – 460,000
Seat 7: Brian Rast – 1,176,000
Seat 8: Adam Hourani – 300,000
Seat 9: Johnny Chan – 624,000
