Early this morning, Phil Hellmuth set yet another record at this year's 2008 WSOP by breaking one that he already held. Just two days after he set two records in the $5,000 Pot Limit Omaha event by racking up his 64th WSOP career cash and his 40th WSOP final table, Hellmuth has cashed again in the $1,500 No Limit Holdem event, bringing the number to 65 (even we can do the math of 64+1).

"The Poker Brat" has an uphill climb to try and get to his 41st final table as he is sitting with about an average stack and is one of 166 players left out of the starting 2,304. He is currently siting on 31,600 and is significantly behind current chip leader Andy Garcia (169,200), who apparently has taken time off from shooting Ocean's 42 to play in this event.

Other notables in the field for this event include PocketFives.com's Court Harrington, UK poker pro Neil Channing, Chris Cornell (celeb soundalikes abound in this tourney), Beth Shak and that's sort of it. No offense to friends and family.

Play resumes at 2pm local time and we'll be here as we always are to bring you live updates from the 2008 WSOP.
