In what is sure to propagate the argument of "Online poker pros vs. Live poker pros," internet cash game phenom Phil "OMGClayAiken" Galfond beat out a table of seasoned pros to take home a bracelet in Event No. 28 – $5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha w/ Rebuys – and the $817,781 first-place prize.

The final table of this event was a list of some of the best players ever to have entered a WSOP event. Galfond had to survive Phil Hellmuth and his 40 WSOP final tables and 11 bracelets, Johnny Chan and his 10 bracelets, David Benyamine at his second final table of the 2008 WSOP, Daniel Negreanu and the bracelet he's already won this year and noted poker pro John Juanda. Not to mention his heads-up opponent Adam Hourani, who gave him a run for his money at the end.

This is the first WSOP braclet for Galfond but not for lack of trying. He has now cashed in six different WSOP events over the past three years and has racked up almost $900k in winnings. Of course, that's like an average day for him online, but still three times more than our houses cost….*sigh*

Also cashing in this event is Team Bodog poker pro David Williams, who finished 16th for $54,003. This is Williams third cash already for the 2008 WSOP as he finished seventh in the $5,000 Mixed Holdem Event and tied for fifth in the $10,000 No Limit Holdem Heads-Up World Championship.
