Poker cheat sheets are not actually cheating. Cheat sheets list valuable information that your memory may have difficulty retaining with ease. There are different types of cheat sheets these days. The original one was a simple hand ranking guide that new players used to remember which hands beat which.

Today’s poker cheat sheets can be a little more elaborate. Some offer information on which hands should be played in certain positions, or they will list the percentage of draw odds for different numbers of outs. Some players will make cheat sheets of weak opponents and action players so they know which games to sit in on.

Using these cheat sheets is recommended for online poker play more than live play. Pulling out an outs chart in a live game will immediately give a lot of information about your level of play to an experienced player. Save them for your computer screen.
