The WPT Legends of Poker event wrapped up last night at the Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles and John "The Razor" Phan proved to everyone (again) that he's pretty good at this whole poker thing. Phan started the final table second in chips  and came from behind to take home the trophy and the $1.1 million first-place prize.

To say that Phan is establishing himself as a force to be reckoned with on the poker tournament circuit would be a bit on an understatement. He was the only player at the 2008 WSOP to win multiple bracelets, 2-7 Triple Draw and Seven-Card Stud, and has reached two WPT televised final tables since then, this event being the second. Add to that another WSOP cash and a couple of other smaller cashes in random events, and Phan has earned $1,875,933 since June 15 of this year. Not too shabby. This also puts him solidly atop the CardPlayer Player of the Year standings.
