Poker pro Scotty Nguyen has cemented himself as the master of all things HORSE poker. The 2008 WSOP HORSE World Champion took down the LA Poker Classic HORSE event last night, earning $339,743 for the win. Sort of. As reported by CardPlayer, it seems that Nguyen and Chino Rheem agreed to a chop in which Nguyen would be crowned champion and Rheem as runner-up, but the actual dollar values each would take home are as yet unspecified.

The final table was no cake walk for either player as it featured several well-known players, including Jeff Madsen and Amnon Filippi. Nguyen started out the final table in the bottom half of the chip counts, but proved why he is the World Champion by working his way up the leader board to pull and meet Rheem heads-up. Rheem himself was on his last legs at several times during the final table, but continued his sick run by busting both Chris Tsiprailidis and Madsen.

Here are the full final results from the final table:

1. Scotty Nguyen – $339,743
2. David Rheem – $181,227
3. Jeff Madsen – $121,323
4. Chris Tsiprailidis – $85,380
5. Matt Graham – $65,105
6. Robert Golick – $51,281
7. Amnon Filippi – $39,300
8. John Monnette – $28,241
9. Kenny Tran – $10,000
