Playing Limit Holdem at the 2008 WSOP is one of those games where you have to have monumental patience and reading abilities to know if your opponent is on a draw. Well, several Team Bodog poker players have those abilities and are therefore out in the field today for Event No. 53 – $1,500 Limit Holdem Shootout.

Earlier we spotted Team Bodog poker players Justin Bonomo, Jean Robert Bellande and Maria Ho all out in the field. Bonomo is still hunting his first bracelet and is making a good run at that so far as he is sitting in the top ten at the moment. Bellande is short stacked but just chipped up a it so he is a little more comfortable. Unfortunately, Ho has already met her demise and will now turn her attention toward the Main Event.

Other notable players near the top of the leaderboard in this event include Theo Tran, Jennifer Harman, Jimmy Fricke, Josh Arieh, David Benyamine, Gavin Smith and Marco Traniello. Play will continue through eight levels today and will wrap up most likely around midnight. We will be at a little shindig tonight, so look for a write-up on that tomorrow.
