A come-from-behind win at the 2007 EPT Copenhagen against noted online poker pro Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier thrust Team Bodog's Magnus Petersson into the limelight and he's looking to get himself back there a year after his epic victory.
Ironically enough, Petersson sat down for Day 1 of this year's event at the same table as Grospellier, nothing like a little pressure to start the day off right. In 2007, at his first ever EPT event, the Swedish financial advisor won roughly $800,000. This year, he is looking to defend his title and take home what will most likely be just over $1 million.
The payouts have yet to be announced, but based on a complex formula in which we throw out numbers that look impressive to us, this will most likely probably be something close to what it will end up being. Precision, that's the name of the game.
Even more pros have hit the rail since our earlier post, including Grospellier himself, Dag Martin Mikkelsen and Dario Minieri. For the love for all that is holy, couldn't some of these so-called "pros" learn to survive past Day 1 of a major tournament. What was that? We couldn't do any better? Buy us in and let's find out, just send a $10,000 check to "Attn: I Don't Understand Snark, 1 Bodog Beat Ave, STFU."

elky is going to win EPT copenaghen, he is too good.
