David Pham is quickly becoming the most feared name in poker, and why not? He's the cousin of the man dubbed "The Master," Men Nguyen, so it must run in the genes. Plus, his nickname is "The Dragon," a mythically feared creature.

Not even a month after Pham was awarded the title of CardPlayer's 2007 Player of the Year, the two-time WSOP bracelet winner has firmly established himself as the man to beat again in 2008 by turning in a ridiculously dominant performance at the EPT Caribbean Adventure.

Pham held an almost 700,000 chip lead over second place at the beginning of the day and extended that lead to over $4 million over second by the end of the day, which was held by Bertrand "elKy" Grospellier. During that 10 hours of grueling poker the 40 person field found itself falling victim to its reptilian leader until only eight were left standing, albeit slightly singed.

Here are the full chip counts for those lucky enough to survive the onslaught:

David Pham – $7,390,000
Bertrand Grospellier – $3,060,000
Joseph Elpayaa – $2,755,000
Hafiz Khan – $2,560,000
Kris Kuykendall – $2,150,000
Richard Fohrenbach – $1,855,000
Craig Hopkins – $1,770,000
Christian Harder – $905,000

The final table is already underway at the Atlantis Resort and Casino in Nassau, so stick around here for more updates.
